erwyn 0
Hello there, Here is my setup: emby in docker, port 8096 and 8920 open + a reverse proxy listening on 443 which redirects internally to 8096. when going on either http/https://app.media.emby from my computer (with chrome) I don't have any issiue all is working perfectly. When doing so on my mobile phone: -> with http adding the server by: -> https://myserver.com:8920 : not working -> http://myserver.com:8096:ok -> https://myserver.com:443:ok -> with https: -> https://myserver.com:8920 : not working -> http://myserver.com:8096:not working -> https://myserver.com:443:ok Am I the only one having this weird issue... because the same app in chrome on desktop works perfectly in any case. PS: what I would like is https with https://myserver.com:8920
erwyn 0
Okay here is some strange more fun. On my phone I have the Emby android app as well. I disconnected it from the server (change server, and then remove server), and now the webapp works as expected, I can connect without any issue... So I guess my problem is solved but there is some fuzzy things happening there. Edited February 24, 2017 by erwyn
erwyn 0
Still on the phone: So I made some more tests, and although this is successfully connecting to the server, I'm not able to play any video, I'm on the playing screen but nothing happens. Please note that it works from the android app. I also realised in the middle of this that I could directly connect to the server instead of going through app.emby.media but the result is the same. On my computer I can play videos but not on my phone. Edited February 24, 2017 by erwyn
Solution Happy2Play 8332 Posted February 24, 2017 Solution Share Posted February 24, 2017 What do you mean by "nothing happens"? Don't you have to hit the play button twice on mobile devices?
erwyn 0
Yes I have to hit it once to get a weird video view, and then I click the play button in the video view and I end up in the "normal" video view. But no video plays, blackscreen. I have access to all the controls though
Happy2Play 8332
All I can think of is what browser and you will probably have to post your server log to possibly find the issue.
erwyn 0
mmmh Okay, after you talked about pushing multiple times the play button I made so more tries and it worked.... maybe a connexion problem at this point. Sorry to have bothered you!
