Lmao I have more and more starting to use my server and after 5 external access I start to worry about things slowing down. also I have at the least 3 internal accessing all the time. So with a total of 6-8 streaming all at one time..

So I think running a external access server would not only make me feel better but it seems like it would give me a lot of room for users. I'm running my server with desktop motherboard's. Will latter get a server motherboard with the works. Lmao with time.

Can't remember who told me that I would get the bug of wanting more and more equipment.. big is always better..

Yea what @@Night said..  One beefy server is the way to go!

But if for some reason you wanted two servers..  Disable "Automatic Port Mapping" on your internal emby server (under Advanced/Hosting),  reboot both servers and your router and see what happens. Only your external server should open those ports on your router for external use..    If you use DLNA disable that in the external emby server so you don't see two servers internally.   That should be a "basic" fix for what you want..  It doesn't sound like you are a network nerd otherwise you can get into isolating them totally via your router and what not...

If you previously manually went into your router and opened ports for emby then you would disable auto port mapping on both servers and only port forward to your external server..
