Tumba 1 Posted October 25, 2016 Share Posted October 25, 2016 Hi all, since an update to 3.0.8100.0 the scan of library brings as usual all metadata into the database including thumb, logo, backdrop etc. However only the primary pictures of new movies are not loaded. The server is always choosing a screenshot of the movie as primary picture. In the settings it is set that emby server is able to load additional meta data from the internet (since the update it is included in each specific library). This is was emby server is doing but not with the primary picture. Manually replacement of the primary pictures is easily possible (via integrated search engine to TheMovieDB) but not wanted. Luke 37065 Posted October 31, 2016 Share Posted October 31, 2016 It looks like it did fetch an image url from Omdb but then later that image url unfortunately turned out to be invalid. Can you try going to metadata services -> then pick movies, then make MovieDb the top priority image fetcher. then try refreshing an affected title. thanks ! Tumba 1 Posted October 31, 2016 Author Share Posted October 31, 2016 Interesting: I go to Metadata -> Services -> Movies -> Image fetchers but I only see "Screen Grabber" as possible service. Another detail: My tech said after updating the emby server the server.xml was destroyed (0 Bytes). He had to restore it from another emby server version. This may cause such a problem... However the scraper is still getting any information from the internet but only the primary picture is missing. Instead I see a screenshot from the moviepicture.
