manicjonah 1
I recently upgraded Emby to Version 3.0.7200.0 on my Windows 7 Ultimate HTPC. Since the upgrade Emby is showing a ludicrous "unwatched" episode count for our TV series. When I drill down into the season for any given show I find long lists of Missing or Unaired episodes. I checked the settings for all user accounts and found that the "Display missing episodes within seasons" and "Display unaired episodes within seasons" are unchecked. I confirmed in the user config files located in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\config\users\<randomfoldername>\config.xml also show that these options are set to false: <DisplayMissingEpisodes>false</DisplayMissingEpisodes> <DisplayUnairedEpisodes>false</DisplayUnairedEpisodes> My server is rebooted every day so a simple service restart hasn't worked out the problem. I'm not sure what to look at next. As my problem is with a server side setting you already know that it is present regardless of the client I am using. If it's avoidable I'd prefer not to wipe out Emby and start all over so any direction you can give for uncovering and resolving the problem without taking drastic measures is sincerely appreciated. Thanks, MJ
Solution Happy2Play 8282 Posted September 27, 2016 Solution Share Posted September 27, 2016 What version did you update from? Depending your previous version others have had to delete the library.db and allow it to rebuilt. manicjonah 1
Thanks for the quick reply. I don't recall what version of the software I upgraded from but I remember that during the update to 3.0.7200.0 there was no database update. However during the last update I ran there was a database upgrade. I was running 3.0.5xxx? Anyway, I stopped the Emby service, renamed the old library file and fired up the service again. Looks like I'm back in business. Thanks for the help.

I think there were some upgrade issues coming from the old version to the new version that we need to look at. Thanks.
