Angel038 0
Hi guys, I have a problem since few months. I have a PC Windows Emby Server (Version 3.0.7200.0), and i use it to watch my Tv Shows or movies on my TV or iPad. This is the problem, the playback stop or pass to the next episode many minutes before the end of the TV Shows or Movie. I don't know how to solve the problem. I've read other topics witch mention this problem but nothing found a solution to my problem. Thanks for help.
Luke 37063
Hi, welcome. Is this happening with DLNA or the iPad? thanks !
Happy2Play 8281
Are your files Transcoding? Had the same issue on My old Samsung TV. Any media that was transcoded ended about a minute or so early. For me I modified the profile to allow direct play.

Please provide the information requested in how to report a media playback issue, and we'll do our very best to help you. thanks ! Roughly five minutes before the end of a video file playing it will end the video and move on to the next one. It does this with Xvid, AVI, MP4, and MKV files. It also does it without fail through DLNA. When I play a file on my Android tablet I do not experience this issue. Luke 37063
Does it without fail meaning you experience the problem with DLNA, or without fail meaning it does not occur and plays normally?
Angel038 0
Thanks for tout answers. I read tv shows and movies with dlna service enable on emby server on a tv décoder. And on iPad with emby client app. I don't know how to configuré profiles on emby server
Luke 37063
What exactly are you trying to do?
dankingsley 0
Anytime I stream to my dlps5200 Sony box from my Emby server the video ends 5 minutes early then and starts the next file in the directory. When I watch a video on my PC or android tablet this problem does not arise. It only started this during the summer (I dont remember exactly when). seriuosly frustrating. Shizuyori 5
I had this problem but this turned out to be how unreliable my network was (ethernet powerline adapters)
