horstepipe 356
hey I'm just experimenting with the Google Drive plugin. I have one question: When I sync a movie to Google Drive in original quality, how can I force that the (external) clients stream it from Google and not from my NAS? Luke 37096
The ones that support it will do this automatically.

horstepipe 356
On FireTV and Android Tablet it doesn't seem to work. Please tell me an Emby App where this should work I'd really like to test it.
Luke 37096
Both of those apps as well as the web app support it, and ios, roku and chromecast
horstepipe 356
Both of those apps as well as the web app support it, and ios, roku and chromecast You got me right that I'm talking not about a downscaled/transcoded version of the file? I synced the file "as is" to google drive. So if the client streams the file from my Emby Server and not from GDrive, what could cause this behviour? Happy2Play 8296
Wouldn't the server just use the local source if both of them are the same?
Luke 37096
no matter how you synced it, apps will only use it if they are able to play it based on their supported formats and in app playback settings.

Ok I'll try it with a stereo MP4 file every client should be able to play
horstepipe 356
Wouldn't the server just use the local source if both of them are the same? Would be perfect if you could delete the local file after it was uploaded to the cloud.
