sytone 5
Hi, Any one created or thought about a Python API library for working with Emby? I noticed that plex had one bu did a quick search and did not see one for emby. Is there a single point where all the client libraries are kept and documented? Plex Example: https://pypi.python.org/pypi/PlexAPI
Luke 37118
I think it would be nice but we have our hands full as it is maintaining libraries for java, c# and javascript.

chef 3746
If home assistant has a web interface API, it is possible to write a plugin with c#. Just thought I'd throw it out there I did it with micasaverde products.
mgworek 121
I just installed Home Assistant. If you get anywhere with it, let us know. Thanks
chef 3746
Here is the REST API docs: https://home-assistant.io/developers/rest_api/ I might not have time to write this, but I am willing to help anyone who wants to put emby on Home Assisstants list of integrated items... Right above PLEX hehehe....
Sammy 738
If home assistant has a web interface API, it is possible to write a plugin with c#. Just thought I'd throw it out there I did it with micasaverde products. I have a Vera Plus. What does your plug in do and how do I implement it? Happy2Play 8304
It is listed in the plugin catalog on the server.
Sammy 738
Cool. I just installed it but is there documentation somewhere on setting it up? EDIT: It looks like it can be configured to start a scene when starting a movie but I don't see my PC with the Emby Theater install in the list of clients.. That would be so cool to start a movie and then dim the lights, etc! Edited August 31, 2016 by Sammy

chef 3746
Also, I made it only work with ui7 on vera. Sorry if you are using ui5 it isn't going to do much good. When you start a client press the refresh devices button to have the client show up in the drop down list box.
