Couple of issues - please update.

Can someone please confirm the state of the current issues that I'm observing;

 

Android TV client not changing refresh rate to match the source media (confirmed on FireTV v2, FireTV Stick and Nexus Player). This happens with/without VLC as player. All content (24Hz/50Hz etc) is displayed at 60Hz.

 

DVD rips (480P/576P as MKV) not scaling to the full screen. They appear in the 'centre' of the screen with very large black borders all round. This does not affect 720P/1080P material. Confirmed on FireTV Stick/Nexus Player.

 

All players are running the latest versions of the Emby Client

The app has never supported refresh rate switching.  It is on the list to look at but it is not something that is reported as very reliable with a lot of devices.

 

As for the other issue, this is a problem with non-anamorphic content.  The latest beta version of the app provides a new "Zoom" feature to account for it.
