wildpig953 0
Hi guys I'm running emby for WMC and trailers plugin displays the list of trailers of up coming movies, however I am unable to stream a trailer from the internet without it stopping and downloading the next 30-40 seconds to play. I have NBN fibre 25Mb down and 5Mb up, the pc CPU is sitting at around 3% during playback, the network download speed swings between about 600kbs and 1.2Mbs. I do really enjoy the trailers plugin, please is there something I can do to fix this issue. thanks in advance Wildpig Trailers log.txt

wildpig953 0
Hi Luke I have made the changes and am still experiencing problems. I have made a little video of the issue :- https://youtu.be/JAD1Q3pziBU I am using emby for WMC, I am running gigabit network at home with 25Mb NBN to the internet. I have no issues watching videos on youtube through a browser, but watching the upcoming trailers through emby browser or emby for WMC is bad. I have been using emby with trailers plugin for many years, only this year has it been a problem. Im sure its a setting in my system but I have run out of ideas. Many thanks for your help Wildpig Edited May 2, 2016 by wildpig953

wildpig953 0
Ok guys I have done some diagnostics If I go to the trailers plugin and play the trailer for an up coming movie called Inferno it is stuttery or keeps caching every 5 to 10 seconds. I have a look at the log file and this is the link to the trailer "http://cdn.movie-list.com/hd/inferno720.mp4".if I drop that link into my browser on any of my PC's I get the same result, caching every 5 to 10 seconds. Conclusion TPG NBN connection to movie-list.com for 720 trailers = BAD. If I go direct to the website movie-list.com and play the trailer for inferno it streams a lower quality width 640 X height 360 at least this will stream without hickups. So please Luke can we have an option to disable the HD part of your fantastic plugin for those of us with sucky internet?????

wildpig953 0
Hi Luke Thank your your reply The version of trailers plugin I am using is 1.0.5946.24707 This is the setting I am using and as you see currently the HD 720 links are the ones being streamed, I actually prefer HD for my UHD LCD but for some reason my access to that site from australia through my internet service provider is crap ATM Thank you so much for your continued support
Luke 37118
that can happen when there isn't a 480p version of a certain trailer. sometimes that happens.
