jhoff80 87
This is an experimental feature in about:flags, and so obviously it shouldn't be a high priority, but I noticed that when in Edge (Insider Build 14316) on the desktop, if I enable "Javascript Fetch API" in about:flags then I am unable to log into my server. The progress indicator spins indefinitely. Doesn't really need a fix as far as I know, just thought it might be something you wanted to be aware of. Luke 37113
We use fetch. Works fine in Chrome and Firefox. When it gets beyond experimental stage in Edge, then we'll test it.
jhoff80 87
Just as an FYI, this flag is now enabled by default in Insider builds and causes issues within the web client (at least for 5972). An example is when trying to click the button to mark as watched, the desktop version of Edge reloads repeatedly and then the browser sends you to an error page. The mobile version of Edge just locks up. Obviously I realize that the Insider builds are a moving target and you can't target that, but with the 'finished' Anniversary Update on its way in two months it seemed worth the mention. Brandr0id 0
Hi jhoff80,It looks like the fix for the these issues is included in the latest fast ring preview (https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2016/06/08/announcing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-14361/). I tested the two issues you mentioned specifically and was no longer able to reproduce the issue on this build. If you notice anything else like this, a great place to let the developers know is https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/platform/issues/
