Solution Luke 37098 Posted March 27, 2016 Solution Share Posted March 27, 2016 Hi, go to C:\Users\meddaugh\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\plugins delete the .dll file for MBPlus and that should get you back up and running. Thanks.
meddaugh 7
Awesome, that fixed it! What happened that caused it to not work? I also see it does not appear any more in the plugin list to install.... Is MBPlus dead now? Thanks again!

Is MBPlus dead now? Thanks again! Yes, sadly MBPlus isn't really being developed anymore. A lot of the functionality is being rolled into the standard client. I was pretty gutted though - only ET comes close to beating that old MB+ EHS. I paid for MB+ as well!
Pcrockett83 0
I don't have that DLL, and I still get an unhandled exception on launch (for both the stable and beta releases).
Pcrockett83 0
Never mind, I checked the log and it's a database error. Renaming library.db seemed to fix it.

Gina66 2
Hi, go to C:\Users\meddaugh\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\plugins delete the .dll file for MBPlus and that should get you back up and running. Thanks. I tried doing this, but I don't have a MBPlus file in my folder. In fact, I don't ever remember using that and my Media-Browser-Server has already been updated to Emby. I did check the latest log for the unhandled exception and got this - One or more errors occurred. System.AggregateException at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.WaitAll(Task[] tasks, Int32 millisecondsTimeout, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at MediaBrowser.ServerApplication.MainStartup.RunApplication(ServerApplicationPaths appPaths, ILogManager logManager, Boolean runService, StartupOptions options) at MediaBrowser.ServerApplication.MainStartup.Main() InnerException: System.BadImageFormatException Could not load file or assembly 'ServiceStack, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. I'm still using 3.0.60 which I believe is the latest edition, is that correct?

Luke 37098
Try rebooting the machine. Let us know if the issue persists. Do you have any anti-virus or firewall software installed? Something on your machine is blocking the web server, so this is less about finding a problem with Emby and more about learning about your environment so that we can find out what the answer is. Thanks !
