xaviersstudent 0 Posted March 26, 2016 Share Posted March 26, 2016 I'm running emby theater and the server on the same machine, using windows 10. The player works great reading the movies, but I can't get shuffle to turn off. I can find it, but when I click to deactivate it, it simply clears the box with the options from the screen without actually altering the setting. Any suggestions? Shuffle isn't generally something you turn off, rather, when you start playing you either choose play, shuffle, etc. Does that make sense? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
xaviersstudent 0 Posted March 26, 2016 Author Share Posted March 26, 2016 I am trying to watch a season of a show, say Justice league, and it will not play the episodes in order, even though it lists them in the right order, if I let it play from one to the next, it shuffles. Luke 37064 Posted March 26, 2016 Share Posted March 26, 2016 The issue is we got a little ahead of ourselves and added the setting to the apps while the server feature was still in beta. In order to get the setting to stick, you can grab the beta server from the website, or just wait a few days and we'll have a new stable release. Thanks. Shadowking613 0 Posted May 27, 2021 Share Posted May 27, 2021 i never use shuffle since it wouldn't make much since while trying to watch a tv show, all i do is select the tv show and push play or play next up and it plays the next episode in line then selects random episode to play next. Shadowking613 0 Posted May 28, 2021 Share Posted May 28, 2021 sure, watching CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (15 season totaling 337 Episodes) i click on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in the tv show folder and click play or play next lets say S3 E10 it plays it then jumps to S11 E18 and so on. But yes with this update things that worked before may not work now. That naming scheme technically in not supported. But a true example showing full path naming convention would be more relavent.
