With the new Chromebooks and the Chromebox there will be more market penetration of these devices. My work could be done almost exclusively through a Chromebook. As it is Google Chrome, I doubt there would be a problem with the Web Client though. Unfortunately I don't think there isn't enough interest for the devs here to take it on (my own assumption). You could look around the Chromebook forums or try Github or SourceForge. A great way to help us that is just as valuable, is to think about giving us some of your time rather than money. i'm sure we can find a developer who might be interested in this but we need to get the word out. i have a long list of sites to promote mb3 on and not enough people to help me do it. when i end up doing it it just pulls me away from development. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

trusselo 220 Posted December 18, 2013 Share Posted December 18, 2013 chrome book specs arent high enough for any type of useful local image caching, or local HD decoding, web client would be the best route, an http shortcut to the existing web UI would be just as useful as a webUI based app for chromeOS, starting from scratch at that. I am just looking for solutions to put web devices in every room without the cost of the PC. With the new FireTV, I might just go that route and hope for a 10' interface on the Android app. Though not sure the FireTV will work with a keyboard for Facebook and web access.
