Luke 37132
at this point i haven't been able to reproduce it. what do you have chromecast connected to, a receiver, or a tv?
speechles 1920
@@dibsta you lack dolby/ac3 support on your television, or pass-through setup. Hence the silence, you should be using mp3/aac and downmixing to 2.0. You shouldnt be using ac3 if you hear the sound of silence. Make sure your equipment supports dolby digital. dibsta 0
Hi Speeckles You make some valid points but my setup worked one day then it didn't. I have not changed my TV Dave Edited February 11, 2016 by dibsta
Luke 37132
The issue is that we're using AC3 because the Chromecast device has auto-detected it as being supported, and true enough, it does work for you on some files.
