Brendon 101
Just curious if MBT is going to support DVD/CD and BD disc playback in the future or will i still be stuck using cyberlink or the xbox/ps for disc playback??
Morgian 7
If I am not mistaken full blu-ray menu support would require MediaBrowser to pay fees to the blu-ray disc association (amongst other IP owner probably), that's why there is no free software that allows full blu-ray playback. A8HTPC 38
Ok, How can I get Media Browser Theater to choose powerdvd13 for only 'bluray disc' playback?
Luke 37118
Well since it's alpha, try to figure it out. If you can't then I'll know it needs to be designed better.
A8HTPC 38
Well I don't know anything about the software being "alpha". I know nothing about "alpha". I haven't seen a setting anywhere for disc playback and you can't set the disc drive to play on external player. So far I need to manually start powerdvd for disc play back. I know you guys are doing a lot, but disc playback is a big thing for most.

Brendon 101
Sorry, but that is just never going to happen. We aren't a company. We are an open-source project. Even M$ wouldn't go there until recently, must have been a real kick in the nuts to have to write that cheque to Sony lol So i guess it's make a way to launch CyberCrap PowerDVD from the apps menu or watch them on the PS3/XBox One. will have to have a play now.
