chrisoldroyd 12
Hi, I have updated to stable 1.1.68 and added in a shortcut to my Emby "Home Movies". When I click on the shortcut it opens my Home Movies but also opens the Options menu every time, I have to close it each time. Everything plays fine after that but when I stop a movie it comes up with a Playlists page instead of going back to the Home Movies page and again the options menu is opened. I also noticed that "Home Movies" no longer show up under Movies in Kodi, has this changed since the earlier update as I thought Kodi couldn't support more than one Movie library" Thanks Chris
chrisoldroyd 12
Updated to 1.1.69 and same behaviour, is it just me getting this?
Angelblue05 4130
If you switch skin, do you get the same issue?
chrisoldroyd 12
I will test it today, going to do full rebuild of my Kodi box and start from fresh. Lots of weirdness going on Thanks
chrisoldroyd 12
I have tried another skin and the behaviour is similar. When playing a video via the Emby Movies shortcut it plays fine but when you stop it it reverts to a music playlist screen rather than back to Movies. This all works fine with 1.1.62. I have tested this on Titan, Titan Beta and Aeon Nox. The options menu only appears when I use the Titan Skin for some reason.

Angelblue05 4130
Happy new year I'm not sure about the menu pop out. I will have to test. Your question in the OP: Kodi has default shortcuts for Movies and TV Shows. They return every item that's type movie (or tvshow) - This is unwanted when using Emby. To replicate your Emby views (webclient sections), we use Kodi tags and tag your items accordingly. Then we use the Kodi tag filter to recreate your Emby views in Kodi. You can then use the playlists or video nodes that represent your Emby views and pin them to your home screen. If you see your home videos in your movies, it means you are using a home shortcut that points to the Kodi default Movies shortcut rather than your Emby view Movies. I hope this answers your question. I will let you know for your other issue, as I'm not sure why it would do this. Can you try something? Launch the emby for Kodi add-on > Refresh playlists. Let me know if this fixes it or not. Thanks!
chrisoldroyd 12
Yes that's exactly what I have done, my shortcuts point to the Emby Movies so it just shows movies. Now when I play a movie and stop it instead of returning to the movies view it pulls up that music playlist page for some reason? That's my main issue. Solution chrisoldroyd 12 Posted January 2, 2016 Author Solution Share Posted January 2, 2016 Looks like I have fixed the issue, I was creating the shortcuts one way and trying another seems to have fixed things.] Previously I was adding the shortcut by going to Addon<Video Addon<Emby<Movies<Movies Now if I use Videos<Video Library<Movies (With Emby Logo)<Movies it all works as it should. Thanks for helping Chris
