mnbf9rca 0
i'd like to recommend the following: in the task scheduler overview page, it would be good to see when each task is next scheduled to run, as well as when it was last run it would be good to be able to add a "once off" schedule. For example, if i've just done a big reorganisation, i might want to trigger a library scan sooner than the next scheduled item. Or, instead of a "once off" item, it would be good to have a "run now" button to force the task to execute immediately. is this possible?
Koleckai Silvestri 1150
There is a run now button for scheduled tasks already. It is the little share icon to the right of of the scheduled task name. Used to be a more appropriate play icon but was changed a few versions back. At least the button appears in Chrome for Windows on a desktop. If you click on the task name, you can change its schedule. Pretty sure most tasks can be configured to show in your notifications list as well.

ebr 14930
It used to be a "play" symbol but was changed recently. What would you consider a "run" icon?
mnbf9rca 0
well, if a play button wasnt good enough, how about this: (from http://www.fontsaddict.com/icon/redo-arrow-of-circular-shape-with-half-line-broken.html)
ebr 14930
That looks like re-start, recycle or repeat to me. Honestly, I think the Play button was fairly self-explanatory.
mnbf9rca 0
why not a play button though? why was it changed?

Why was it changed? When i saw this button (i'm a relatively new Emby user) i had no idea what it was for - i thought perhaps for sending logs somewhere or applying this task to a specific data source or folder or something like that.
