FlyGuy94 6
Hi I installed emby natively on my synology and I can't play some files for some reason. Mostly tv episodes I also noticed I with the files that don't work I can't see file details like codec resolution enz... I don't think its a permission problem sins I put on permissions manually and I don't find that error in the logs. I have attached all logs from today but I had to cut up the second file since it was to large to upload. server-63579239071.txttranscode-039fd077-15e9-42ba-b18b-8676f18c04ec.txttranscode-a4ed5124-a83f-4938-b7b4-42fb85597087.txttranscode-a9f64020-b779-4dbd-a1a3-be6d6e3cf93e.txttranscode-bcbd7b78-a175-4ac0-bb21-6f0910b4ce78.txttranscode-fe1d8b7a-d6c6-45b6-a9e9-1611f307ab9b.txtserver-63579254400.txt I did find this in the second server log but I don't know if this is the main problem *** Error Report *** Version: 3.0.5724.5 Command line: /usr/local/emby/share/emby/MediaBrowser.Server.Mono.exe -programdata /usr/local/emby/var -ffmpeg /usr/local/ffmpeg/bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /usr/local/ffmpeg/bin/ffprobe Operating system: Unix 3.10.35.0 Processor count: 4 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True Program data path: /usr/local/emby/var Mono: 3.10.0 (tarball Sat Mar 28 10:18:33 UTC 2015) Application Path: /volume1/@appstore/emby/share/emby/MediaBrowser.Server.Mono.exe Could not find file "/usr/local/emby/var/transcoding-temp/82977696f6411203420a259f7ba2dca9.m3u8". Luke 37099
that's odd. there's something in that video file that ffmpeg doesn't support. file:/volume1/Videos/TV/Fargo/Season 01/Fargo.S01E01.720p.WEB-DL-NhaNc3.mkv: Not yet implemented in FFmpeg, patches welcome can you maybe try updating ffmpeg to the latest version? FlyGuy94 6
Yeah its a synology updating ffmpeg without compiling it myself is not going to work. But it seems that was not the problem. I use sickrage and somehow It corrupted all my tv shows when post processing. That's why my movies were fine. Not sure what caused that but I still had the downloads so I just removed the folders and let sickrage reprocess the episodes and now all is well.
