Crestj 67
After the recent MBC upgrade I've noticed an increase of about 20 seconds to the load time of MBC to the EHS. The only thing I can find in the server logs are : 2013-11-30 09:24:24.2377, Info, App, Received UDP server request from 192.168.1.10:49361 2013-11-30 09:24:25.2829, Info, App, Udp message sent to 192.168.1.10:49361 2013-11-30 09:24:45.5309, Info, App, Authentication request for Rebecca has succeeded. 2013-11-30 09:24:47.9800, Info, App, Client connected from 192.168.1.10:49366 2013-11-30 09:24:52.4414, Error, DtoUtils, ServiceBase<TRequest>::Service Exception MediaInfo image not found: rated_none MediaBrowser.Common.Extensions.ResourceNotFoundException at MediaBrowser.Api.Images.ImageByNameService.Get(GetMediaInfoImage request) at lambda_method(Closure , Object , Object ) at ServiceStack.ServiceHost.ServiceRunner`1.Execute(IRequestContext requestContext, Object instance, TRequest request) 2013-11-30 09:24:52.4726, Error, HttpServer, Error processing request for /mediabrowser/Images/MediaInfo/Chocolate/rated_none MediaInfo image not found: rated_none ServiceStack.Common.Web.HttpError No Stack Trace Available Is the 20 second pause for the authentication request to succeed ok? Is the rated_none error ignorable? Edited November 30, 2013 by Crestj

ebr 14913
The 20 seconds was the time between the app finding the server, and you selecting Rebecca from the list of users. Do you have "Hide empty folders" selected?
Crestj 67
I did, turning it off speeded it up a bit. Do I need to do that for all users? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
ebr 14913
How much is "a bit"? Yes, I'm pretty sure this is a user-specific setting. I will look into why it is causing a slow down soon.
Crestj 67
Down from 20 seconds to about 10 I would say. The htpc is not uber powerful and 10 was the norm before. Weird though as I have no empty folders in my library. Approx 400 movies and 30 TV shows. Could the podcast plugin be the cause?
