Dysan 2
Just playing my second movie on my brand spanking new Sony 50W905c Android 5 TV, the playback just stalls. Sadly entering the admin i'm seeing theres transcoding needed. But the CPU can just cope with it, (red bar is ahead of green one) attached are the LOG files. tried to restart emby, but no results there. Restarting the tv results in the frozen movie coming back on my screen. Just activated the Logging function on the app and send the reports of emby for android TV Transcodelog.txt Log (1).txt Edited September 3, 2015 by Dysan
ebr 14913
The transcoding appears to be keeping up fine. What playback options do you have set (using VLC or not)? You could try the new beta as it has improved playback on most devices.
Dysan 2
Im using the default app options, VLC is not used with transcoding. Enabling VLC gives a horrible quality / big blocks corrupt image. Prime question, why the transcoding ?
ebr 14913
It would transcode because the format of the file or requested parameters don't match the capabilities of the player. I would try the beta to see if it is improved.
