jjdavola 0
Is it possible? I have all my movies and TV shows on an external hard drive connected to my NVIDIA SHIELD TV and would love nothing more than to install the Emby server on it (like I did on mini desktop). I even paid for the Emby Android TV app hoping I'd be able to make it happen, but I can't. BTW my Shield TV is connected via ethernet connection and even though I know it's IP address nothing seems to work. Any tips, tricks or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Deathsquirrel 741
There is no android version of the server. You need to install the server on a pc.

I can't believe I have to put 2TB of movies and TV shows on my PC AND my external hard drive connected to my NVIDIA Shield.
ebr 14929
Thanks. That's unfortunate. But - if you make them available to Emby, then you may not need them accessible by the Shield directly.

Luke 37112
I think it will eventually be possible to install the server on android, just not yet.
