daz_pp 1
Hi Wanted to add a guest user again. User has created and verified his account/email but I can't add him anyway. Adding the log created while trying to add the user. Seems I get some errors again. Last time I got it working when I installed the server on another machine. Now it doesn't work on the same again. server-63574243200.txt

daz_pp 1
Try it again. it looks like your machine is just timing out trying to connect to our servers. I've tried it seevral time yesterday and today to. Same result. And this is the exact same result I had on the other box I tried it on last time I reported this problem. Installed the server on another box and got it working, once. Now it's the same thing all over again .
ebr 14913
Make sure anti-malware or a firewall isn't blocking it.
daz_pp 1
Make sure anti-malware or a firewall isn't blocking it. I checked that to. On the first machine I didn't even have antivirus installed. And the firewall I use is pfsense and is allowing everything from inside network to internet. It is also running a upnpd so the upnp should work fine to.
daz_pp 1
Have dome some more investigations on this now and did a tcpdump on both inside and outside interface of my firewall (pfsense) I can see the packets both request and response from the server and it should work in my opinion. Any other ideas?
Longrifle 33
I would completely disable the firewall and try again, if it works then you know it is some setting on the firewall blocking it.

On the computer itself there is no firewall. The NAT box I have to get my computer out to internet is completely open and doesn't stop anything outgoing. ebr 14913
On the computer itself there is no firewall. Not even the standard Windows Firewall? If so, you might try installing/enabling that with the proper exception for our server because we've had people have this problem in the past when completely disabling the Windows Firewall. Its like Windows itself decides to step in and protect you when the firewall isn't there.

Its like Windows itself decides to step in and protect you when the firewall isn't there. I've never ever had that problem. The reason I disable it fully is to get exactly free connections to my box as I want or need it. I do protect my box in other ways but none that should block any traffic to or from it.
