jdmevo123 0
hi all, Been having issues for over two weeks now we're envy server won't update or register my supporter key. I have validated the supporter key, firewall, ports and connectivity and everything appears fine, except the envy logs show a .net error. Can anyone shed some light as to what he gone wrong? Thanks Dale
ebr 14913
We'd have to see the error. How to Report a Problem

ebr 14913
That isn't the same log (doesn't have the error) and only contains 20 seconds of information.

ebr 14913
The server cannot get out over the internet at all. The operation has timed out I would look at firewalls, anti-malware and any other internet security things you have.
jdmevo123 0
Really, I have looked at firewall, router and checked the ports are opened and everything is. I'll have another look and see if there is anything else blocking it. Thanks Ebr
pir8radio 1292
@@jdmevo123 reboot the PC running emby... See if it works.. I thought this was just a hardware/software issue with my setup... It seems after some time my server can not reach the media browser servers... or it takes a long time to do so and times out... I haven't figured out why yet.. It only happens after emby and server have been running stable for a long time.. Its not an emby issue either because i cant get to it via my browser on that server either.. yet another pc on my same network can. very strange... Like i said i think its something to do with my setup... but would be curious if you were having a similar issue. Another thing to try before you reboot, go into scheduled tasks and try to manually start "Check for plugin updates" see if it fails.
