Angelblue05 4130
BTW, current version is 1.0.15. So next version would be 1.0.16. However you can install from zip this version over the current version 1.0.15 (once you update, you are currently on 1.0.14). Please test and let me know it is working correctly now. Thank you
e123enitan 237
@ Angelblue05, sorry for been a pest on this, the intermittent appearing of compressing, continued to cause issue for the smooth playing of either TV shows or Movies, at times, the screen will freeze for a while when the compressed action is in progressed. I have taken logs from two diff units, http://xbmclogs.com/prr3typcc http://xbmclogs.com/pnpjakio3 http://xbmclogs.com/pzzy0wykc http://xbmclogs.com/ppt08whkn Thanks Edited June 28, 2015 by e123enitan
Angelblue05 4130
You are not a pest at all lol, we are here to help! By the looks of your logs, you have a lot of items to update (+100 for sure). Let your Kodi run a bit without using it. You can enable the sync dialog in the add-on option to see what it's doing and when it's done. There's nothing else we can really do about it I think. But once it finishes and your library matches your Emby library, it should be fine and stop freezing your playback.

Got, it, I definately have a large data files, could be the system is processing the data under the hood. Just for my understanding this would always happen on the first/initial syncro, thereafter it should be fine meanning the frequency of the compressed should be few? Thanks for your support and swift response
Angelblue05 4130
Indeed! When you start up Kodi, it will do a check and compare your Kodi database to your Emby library and only update items that need updating since last time your Kodi was on. So if no item needs updating, then the start up sync will be done very quickly (couple of seconds). The compressed database message should display less after that (it will still display as it's Kodi behavior to do library updates every x) but it is something you can hide from view. Thanks for the clarification, when I turn-on as you said, I noticed incremental processing each time any of the clients on the network updates the server, so if 5 clients (wife, children, etc on the LAN) are writing to server, any of these active device will noticed compressed if it is turn-on, therefore this may have accounts for the frequent compressed. MAKE SENSE nice One Also I should mentioned, I have no more issue texture cache, at lease for now, and it makes navigating faster.
