tymanthius 18
Just installed a day or so ago, and I've got it finding all my media now. But most of my movies won't show posters. TV is fine. I'm guessing that b/c sonarr manages my tv & renames everything neatly, that's why Emby can get accurate art for it. But my movies are pretty much just downloaded & dumped into /media/video/movies/kids ../adults & left there. I've been spoiled by Plex pretty much figuring out what I have & giving me good posters & titles 95% of the time. I guess what I'm looking for is confirmation, or a better solution b/c I'm not going thru & renaming all those files (many are torrents that if I rename they break the hash). hurricanehrndz 149
Might be the naming of the movies, you might have to use the meta data manager and let emby know which movie is which
Luke 37118
can we see some specific examples?

Where is the naming convention that Emby expects? I'll be honest - I'm not going to go in and rename a hundred + movies, or manually correct them. hurricanehrndz 149
I think specific examples are best right now. You don't have to rename them if you use the metamamager to.match the filename with an tmdb id
tymanthius 18
Updated to the new server using the new repo. Here's an example: Justice League War 2014 1080p USA Bluray Remux AVC DTS-MA - BluDragon.mkv But it seems to be pulling ID's for it correctly: IMDB id is listed as tt3060952 in metadata, which is correct. tymanthius 18
But that's just it - this one doesn't have a poster . . . .
