feardamhan 6
Thought I'd open a new thread in case my comment would be missed at the end of the similar thread in relation to Version 3.0.5588.0 Advanced Refresh of TV Series individually works (produces missing NFO files in my case as am switching over from XML). Do the same at a folder level results in no new metadata in the sub (series) folders. Specifically the episode and season NFOs. The tvshow NFOs appear to be generated. Also, when doing it at a folder level, the progress wheel appears to spin indefinitely. It terminates normally when doing it at a series level. I've attached a log file that has both the full folder and series level scans were done. Hope it shows something. Luke 37272
it works, but it's just going to take a long, long time. there's currently no way to monitor it's progress so i can understand how it might seem that it's not working
feardamhan 6
Fair enough. I'll give it a whirl overnight and see what happens!
feardamhan 6
Ok. So the refresh has been working for 8 hours now, and hasn't generate a single .NFO file for episodes. Presumably I should be seeing some progress?
ginjaninja 539
Have you rechecked the metadata services config is confugured to store in media folder and nfo writer is ticked?
feardamhan 6
Yup. Both set correctly. The NFOs get created by an Advanced Refresh of the individual series....proving that they work. Its only at the containing folder level that it fails
