dark.neo29 1
I have this working. When I select a show for sync only the newest show syncs. Say current season of Arrow only sync episode 11. The rest never sync or even queue up. Any ideas?

Narnian 2
Hope this is the right place. Have been getting a convert media failure under my sync in schedule tasks. When I go to the sync section I get this... Can you point me in the right direction? LOG
Luke 37097
not entirely sure. i've put up a dev build 3.0.5616.25466 with more logging to hopefully tell us what that is. please grab that and post a new log. thanks.
Narnian 2
Will this help until my server updates? I deleted a redundant user that had admin privileges.
Luke 37097
ok, that was my guess. delete the sync jobs for that user. i'll update the server to handle that situation.
Narnian 2
If I deleted the user where would I find it still trying to find him? Please note my signature line...
Narnian 2
Still getting this error...I deleted a user that should have ended any ability for him to sync. Is he stuck in user.db or a sql file? Convert media failed. 2 hours ago Cannot proceed with sync because user no longer exists. This keeps me from encoding anything. All movies stay in the "Que" Status folders are write-able. I know how you like only looking at one item at a time so I wont even mention I lost my access from my Android phone. .
Luke 37097
that user had sync jobs and those sync jobs are failing because the user is gone. it will be resolved for the next release.

Mibok 118
I'm having problems to playback synced content. The file are converted and uploaded correctly but at the moment of trying to watch the show/movie it transcode again. I wonder if i'm doing something wrong, could someone that have this working make some sort of mini guide please, with things like browser used (I tried opera and IE), Profile, Quality, and how is showed in the dashboard when a content is played from the cloud. I want to be sure that everything setup correctly. My goal is to have a good remote playback quality as my ISP gives me a ridiculous 1mbps of upload stream. Luke 37097
how did you sync and what is an example of where it is transcoding? remember to check the bitrate setting in the app against the synced content. all normal direct stream requirements still apply
Mibok 118
I'm trying to use the web browser and my laptop as playback device, using google cloud sync with the Baseline Profile and Quality set to High. Then the episode/movie are converted and uploaded correctly as it shows like "Synced" on the Dashboard. I tried with different bitrates that match the ones that are by default when playing something like 2Mbps or 2.5Mbps. Then when playing the synced episode/movie it says that it is transcoding on the server Dashboard. On Opera Browser: On Internet Explorer: I'm doing something wrong? ebr 14925
It looks like you have your bitrate setting on the browser set to 1Mb/s.
Mibok 118
I made some test today and it worked once. here's what i did. Synced a episode with baseline profile and custom bitrate of 3 Mbps. Played in Opera Web Browser and it played from cloud correctly although the player said that it was playing at 5 Mbps. I watched about an 70% of the episode without any issue, then switched to Internet Explorer. In Internet Explorer i choose to "Continue" and it played at 1 Mbps transcoding. Then returned to Opera Browser and it played too at 1 Mbps transcoding. Since then i couldn't make it work again, even if i choose manually the custom bitrate of 3 Mbps, another thing that i noticed is that if i go with a bitrate grater than 2.5 Mbps in the dashboard say that the server is transcoding at 2.6 Mbps. Narnian 2
that user had sync jobs and those sync jobs are failing because the user is gone. it will be resolved for the next release. Still unable to sync to my google drive or any device. The original problem persists...
Luke 37097
but it should at least recover to show the sync jobs so that you can delete the ones created by users who no longer exist. i'll update the task to recover and skip over those
