JohnnyM 40
After the MBS Beta update this morning. Dashboard and Metadata Manager did not show any data. Surprisingly the Web Client appears to connect to the server and MBC connected and played a movie that was just added this morning. MBC is on the same box and the server. I did not try the MBC client in the living room. I installed the release copy of the server from the website and all is well again. There has to be an issue with the New Beta. Johnny PS I just went back in to set the server not to install Betas and was to late 3.0.5518.2 was back running with no access to the dashboard or meta manager. socalredneck 11
I had the same problem, but then releaized that by going to my system tray, I could get to Browse Library, and Configure Media Browser. My saved links are now longer good, here is what I found. Dashboard link Was: http://localhost:8096/mediabrowser/dashboard/dashboard.html Is: http://localhost:8096/web/dashboard.html Media Browser Library Was: http://localhost:8096/mediabrowser/dashboard/index.html Is: http://localhost:8096/web/index.html I've also had Windows do an update this morning too, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it too. legallink 187
In the announcement they provided that there would be "shorter" urls, and it has updated on the services. Double check that you are using the new URLs. That may solve your access problem.
ebr 14959
Yeah, even refreshing an existing page after the update occurs is broken so we need to refine this a bit.
