Logos302 86
Plug-in version 1.0.0.3 and SErver Version 3.0.5490.2. I'm getting an error that says that my trial has expired. When I look I registered (According to the plugin) but I need a valid support key which I have. On the dash board I have "Thank you for supporting Media Browser." Is it just the server log you need? Not sure if it related but I'm getting errors when I look at the catalog. ebr 14965
Yes, they are related. You cannot connect to our server to validate. I also see a ton of errors trying to connect to Trakt. Perhaps a network issue...?
Logos302 86
I'm not having any issues that I know of . don't seem to have any issues getting to the web site. This has been going on for a while now for the connection issue. The backup issues is new for today. The trakit issue I was not aware of. I'll call my ISP and see what they have to say about connection problems. I did get the error out of the system Check for application updates failed.17 minutes agoThe underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive. ebr 14965
I would reboot your router and computer and be sure there isn't some anti malware or firewall software mucking with it.
Logos302 86
I have rebooted the router and server, sadly didn't' help. I'm doubt that it's malware but I'll check it . Never know.
ebr 14965
More likely it would be anti-malware.
Logos302 86
The server is a true server, it doesn't really have anti-malware(Windows Defender is installed by default) as it isn't used to browse the web except to go to www.mediabrowser.com . I'm not sure what else to check the performa monitors all look good, nothing that shouldn't be there. And I don't seem to have any trouble go to to mediabrowser.com via chrome. What address does the server load the plug-in catalog from? I think I may have figure it out. As I was looking I remembered that my backup software was updated recently. It has this real-time backup function that might be causeing the machine to be to slow to function for some options. So I have disabled it and when I get back home I'll test it out and see if it's any better. Edited February 5, 2015 by Logos302
Logos302 86
ok I did some check and I can't find anything wrong with the system. How ever I did notice that when I go to the https version in chrome it get there (copied the info out of the logs) but when I go to the http version it does not. not sure if this is normal but I know they the dev build is working on https stuff. ebr 14965
https version of what and you get where?
Logos302 86
. http://www.mb3admin.com/admin/service/package/retrieveall as an example I pulled this from the log but the others work as well (Validate, Plugin, etc) if I type in https it seems to get their, but when I don't it will only get their some times. But it's not just your site that seems to be doming this on this computer. All sites that MBS is going to are having issues, But sites that MBS doesn't go to I don't seems to have a problem it's also like something is throttling me because I am going to these sites too much. Guess I'm going to have to phone my ISP some time today and see what they have to say.
Logos302 86
As a side note a college of mine said he's having similar issues with his system as well. Both of our ISPs are Shaw. So I've phone my ISP and asked them about it and they have given me something to look at and report back, but I'm wondering if other users are experiencing the same thing and not reporting it.
