maisto99 0
Hello, I could use some assistance. For some reason the Auto Organizer doesn't recognize one TV show we record: The Talk. Here is the error: Failed Unable to sort N:\Intake MB3\The Talk S05E103.mp4 because target path could not be determined I am using MCEBuddy upstream to remove the commercials. In the MBS log it talks about missing the provider metadata, but not sure where/how I can add it. My Watch File Structure is: N:\Intake MB3\ My Media File Structure is: N:\Media\TV\The Talk\Season 5\ My Log files are at: http://pastebin.com/rjSz4Ki4 Thank you for the help!! 2015-02-01 00:45:32.3353 Info - App: IntervalTrigger fired for task: Organize new media files 2015-02-01 00:45:32.3353 Info - App: Executing Organize new media files 2015-02-01 00:45:32.3353 Info - App: Sorting file N:\Intake MB3\The Talk S05E102.mp4 2015-02-01 00:45:32.3473 Info - App: Sorting file N:\Intake MB3\The Talk S05E102.mp4 into series N:\Media\TV\The Talk 2015-02-01 00:45:32.3473 Warn - App: No provider metadata found for The Talk season 5 episode 102 2015-02-01 00:45:32.3473 Warn - App: Unable to sort N:\Intake MB3\The Talk S05E102.mp4 because target path could not be determined. 2015-02-01 00:45:32.3473 Info - App: Organize new media files Completed after 0 minute(s) and 0 seconds
Luke 37112
does that episode exist on tvdb?
maisto99 0
When I look it up on TVDb they only show season 1; show is currently on season 5. Are there other options? Is it possible to put in a manual override rule to movie to my library. Thank you for the help.
Luke 37112
no that's the reason. without the metadata we can't determine the episode name, and you current'y can't override that. so you'll have to do it manually.
politby 88
My apologies for hijacking the thread, but now that you mention metadata, Luke, what are the chances of seeing the auto organizer being able to read WTV metadata at some point in the future? maisto99 0
Can you help educate me a little on this (point me a good direction)? When I look at the file property in windows it appears to have all the appropriate metadata for the program. Where is the data MBS uses located in a file? Again, really appreciate the help and the amazing fast responses!
ebr 14929
The identification of the item comes from components of its name and the metadata about that item comes from one or more of the providers as defined and configured in the Metadata Configuration pages. We don't currently read metadata from inside the files. This is what Politby was asking about a timeframe on (which, I'm afraid, I cannot shed any light on).
