Skkittlebomb 2
I searched through the Android App forum, and did a search but cannot find my issue. Forgive me if I missed it =) I am using a Galaxy Samsung 5 & Media Browser App I sign in with MB connect it shows the correct server addresses for my server. I have no problem accessing my server within my network from the app. However, when I am outside my home network am not able to access my remote server. I can however access the remote server address with my phone using the internet. Ports are open and I don't believe it's a router/firewall issue as the remote server has been successfully accessed on a variety of devices not within my network (just not from the app on any android device). I did force stop the app, delete all data and log in from scratch (both from within and outside my network) neither allowed me access to the server remotely. I even tried to delete data, uninstall, and try a fresh install. No luck. I also tried these steps on 2 tablets and 2 other smart phones. All devices can access the server from within the network and via the internet browser, but not remotely through the app. Any solutions or suggestions? Edit to add: Version 3.0.5490.2 (I just read about the logs for androids, they are posted below) Edited January 29, 2015 by Skkittlebomb
