nodiaque 31
Hello, I was wondering if this feature could be implemented. While I appreciate the effort you put in delivering an all in one app, it would be great if I could use external audio/video/splitter instead of internal. Since I don't have control over version, I user external player (MPC-HC) which use itself external codec I install and configured. If MBT could do that, I wouldn't need MPC-HC anymore (especially since MBT is having a hard time giving me a play button on tv shows when enabling external player in Windows 8.1). Thank you!
Luke 37112
it's unlikely. it's been enough work as it is to embed the codecs into the app. all you have to do is configure it within MBT and it will work just fine.
nodiaque 31
Not really. I did try it and it doesn't support Dolby True HD 7.1 (it sometime work, other time it froze at the beginning of the playback). Some audio are reconfigured as dolby ES Matrix instead of dts-hd ma 7.1. It's not constant and I don't get why. Internal seems to be using lav and other audio/video codec, but I know that some version of lav have problems like that, thus why I use my own codec (when I see that problem, I revert to previous version or use a dev one). Also have more option and control over the codec configuration then just the splitter. Well, if you don't ask, you don't know
