TheLonely 0
Hello, Today I've installed MediaBrowser on my Linux (Ubuntu 14.04 to be specific) machine, it was a fresh install. I installed it as the instructions said on the page, no problems with playing any songs from the Linux machine on my Windows 7 computer and Android phone. Then I opened X2Go (VNC, with LXDE) to the Linux machine and opened FF and navigated to the web interface. Tried to remote control my browser that runs on Windows 7, no problems but when trying to play a local song (a song from the Linux machine) it just stayed at 0:00. Nothing... I installed SoundCloud and restarted MediaBrowser and again no luck. Installed Vevo etc then tried to play a video and that worked. I could hear the audio through PulseAudio. I've installed a GNome web player and the Gecko one, rebooted the machine and no luck again. The Vevo (video) works.... kind a strange. Any ideas? With kind regards, Edited November 12, 2014 by TheLonely
thefirstofthe300 291
What MB server version are you running? I think I had a similar issue in the last release. Are you running 3.0.5424.1? Edited November 12, 2014 by DaBungalow
TheLonely 0
I'm running the latest version, 512MB RAM (and 512 vSWAP). Videos work and songs not, and videos would take up more RAM than just songs...
thefirstofthe300 291
If it were a memory issue, I would think that the entire server would seize. Does this issue exist in Chrome or IE? Sent from my Nexus
TheLonely 0
Doesn't work either on Chromium. Not tested on IE... Sorry for late answer, got some Ubuntu problems with my DNS servers. Edited November 14, 2014 by TheLonely
