Question about Shield Home ScreenPlay Next and Emby Continue Watching

Why do only actual started (in process) TV shows show up on the shield’s play next Home Screen and not any of the continue watching episodes from a TV series that are in emby’s continue watching show up ?

Hi.  Because that is how it is designed right now - to only show in-progress items - because that row is device-wide.  IOW every app on the device is putting things in there.

I moved Play Next (Legacy) to the top of the Menu but it's a PITA to do that on 7 devices. Please don't "Legacy" it into oblivion because we use it at least as often as Continue Watching.

I think  you are talking about the Next Up row in our home screen.  The OP is talking about the "Play Next" row on the device home screen,

The setting follows the user on all devices.
