jaycedk 401
You should edit you picture and not show your wan address. It looks like your server does not have a local network ip. Then we need a lot more info, than that.

AJAYSWebDesign 1
When i try to access EMBY from my Ipad it no longer connects. I re-installed the app and tried EMBY connect. It seems to accept the email and password but then just brings up the 'Select Server' screen where it asks for 'Add Server' or Sign in with Emby Connect'.... If I use the ip address the server displays (In-Home (LAN) access: http://192.168.1.9:8096), i still can't connect. 9I key in Host: 192.168.1.9 and Port: 8096). I have triggered ports on router (see below) and added rule to AVG firewall.....
AJAYSWebDesign 1
Can someone please help! All i know is, up until 4 days ago I could access Emby from my Ipad. I have (had) done no changes to my router or my AVG firewall rules...... My understanding is if I set up Emby Connect I should just be able to sign in on the app on my IPad.....? When i try this it just brings up the Select Server screen again with the options below. If i click on ANDYS-PC it comes up unable to reach......???? Luke 37272
Hi, make sure the Emby app on the device is granted local network access in iOS settings.

I don't know why it's not detecting your LAN connection. EDIT: NVM did not notice the IP is set. Did you try accessing the server with your AVG firewall turned off? I;m back in! The only reason I changed/set the IP was it previously was not displaying (see my initial screen shot). Now it displays: In-Home (LAN) access: http://192.168.1.101:8096

AJAYSWebDesign 1
bugger - Firewall just restarted... i can connect on my pc to below... but now i can't access via my ipad.... therefore issue must be AVG firewall
Luke 37272
So now it's 101. Once you start setting it explicitly, then it becomes your responsibility to keep it up to date if and when the value might need to change.

Hold on - the only reason i changed it, was because Emby wasn't displaying the IP address - as mentioned above (refer to initial screenshot). As it turns out, the issue appears to be with AVG Firewall, not the changes i made!! I think I've solved it - AVG introduced a 'default' rule that i have now deleted and have access via Ipad (see my third post compared to settings below).

Happy2Play 8361
I would statically assign an ip to the host or in your router do a dhcp reservation for the server. Edited April 23 by Happy2Play
