Over The Air (OTA) TV and the Emby Server

Hello,

I had a question regarding OTA Tv and the Emby server. I currently own a Tablo Gen4 tuner that is connected to the local network through WiFi. Would it be possible to use the Emby Server for live TV playback and recording live TV shows through Emby.

Emby only supports HDHomeRun and Hauppauge natively (this is expected to change during the next beta after the current 4.9 beta). 

There are various plugin which can link other packages with wider support into Emby.  I have no experience of these, so hopefully someone else will pop in and talk about them.

I wrote the TabloTV v2/3 addon for NextPVR which works quite well and the tuner is better than the HDHR,  but right now there is no API that anyone has found for v4.  I myself can't check because it is not for sale in Canada.  Emby would probably have to work with the company to access the proprietary API and given it is not ATSC 3.0 compatible there wouldn't be a lot of market reason to do this.
