Jeffg2024 5 Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 (edited) Installed Emby server 4.7.14 on a Synology DS1520+ (DSM 7.2). Go to album -> edit image -> search for images shows no results. This happens either with an existing album cover image or none. I've tried "all" under source pull down menu and also turned on "all language" to no avail. Did I do anything wrong? Thanks. Edited March 2, 2024 by Jeffg2024 Added server version and Synology machine
Happy2Play 9398 Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 Can you provide the server log showing specific example. Did not test on 4.7 but did on 4.8.3.0 and 4.9.0.8 1

Luke 39834 Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 HI, try using the metadata editor to set the musicbrianz id for the artist and see if that helps. 1
Happy2Play 9398 Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 Can you post a server log but sound like you're getting failed connections to provider sites. Are you able to update to 4.8.3.0? But have tested 4.7.14.0 without issue so will guess specific to Synology or your location. 1

I am waiting for 4.8.3 or higher version to be available on Synology. Luke mentioned it takes long for Synology to test and approve new version so Emby holds off sending the new version. The Go to album -> identify function works well though. Thanks. Edited March 9, 2024 by Jeffg2024

I'm happy to report it works now. I went into the metadata editor and MusicBrainz Album Id has already been populated. For example: eea2fa29-02bd-4e19-b6ea-8d51b72ebba7. I clicked into it, and it led me to the website and there is a cover art. I then go back and edit image and search. Bang, the cover art popped out. Guess it takes a while for the server to identify all the tracks. I'm a new user and this is my 3rd week using Emby. Thanks.

But glad you are all set now. 1
