AXIANT 3
I have some mp4 videos that seem to play as if they're in slow motion or missing frames. They play fine in VLC or on my iPad's Emby. It must be related to the Fire Stick. They are also encoded in x265, if that matters. Any idea what would cause this issue and how to resolve? Luke 37133
Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
AXIANT 3
Thanks, Luke! I followed the instructions for the Fire Stick and sent the logs. Exactly what you were doing and what happened. Include the name of whatever you played if it is a playback problem Just watching the movie, Police Academy 3 The time you sent the log (in Eastern Time please - UTC -5) 5:51pm EST The name of the Emby user on the local server that was logged in at the time Home
ebr 14939
Hi. The player is spitting out a lot of timing errors with that item. Can you try remuxing it?

Any idea why it would have timing errors on the Fire Stick but play fine on an iPad's Emby?

Completely different players with different tolerances for bad inputs and/or one of them is transcoding which then corrects the problems.
