Angelblue05 4130
I'm posting on behalf of @@saitoh183. He's experiencing some issues with the XBMB3C beta version. Unfortunately, there's nothing showing up in the xbmc logs. I only have MBS server logs to go off from. I'm trying to figure out what exactly is the error related to. If someone could help me understand what it means or if anything else sticks out. I compared my log to his. Version: MBS 3.0.5416.0, XBMB3C 0.9.60306 (same versions for both of us) MBS server log error [saitoh183]: I understand it's an authentication error. I have Movie favorite added as a menu item in both my XBMC profiles. Could it be that this view is broken in some way? I can still browse movies added in Favorite despite the error. Angelblue05 4130
I think I figured out why it's not working but I don't know the steps to solving this. It seems there the MediaBrowser token is missing when received by MBS. Angelblue05 4130
This issue has been resolved by reinstalling the beta repo. Seems there was an old setting that lingered and conflicted with the new security api.
wesbronco75 0
I have been using MB for about 5 years now and this is the first error I have ever gotten. It seems to have just started within the last month or so (I have not used MB in a while and I have it auto update). I am running MB3 server Version 3.0.5445.5 and Media Browser Classic (in WMC) I have recently gotten this error. I have done a new install of the MB3 server and this did not fix the problem. Any body got any new ideas to fix the problem? I don't know how to attach my entire log file without filling up the whole screen but see below for a portion of it where it shows the error. 2014-11-29 17:02:10.4157 Debug - HttpServer: HTTP GET http://192.168.1.142:8096/mediabrowser/System/Info?format=Json Ip: 192.168.1.142:50657. Luke 37180
you have an old version of Media Browser Classic. Update that and you should be good to go.
wesbronco75 0
That worked! I thought that MBC updated automatically also but I guess it does not. Thanks for the fix!
