MateyTate 15
Hi, I have an issue that seems to have been around forever on my Sheild. I’ve tried both the Android TV and standard Android apps and it’s the same. When I watch a movie (MP4 container, with embedded .srt subtitle track), the subtitles all display correctly, until the very last line which persists and never goes away. Even if I turn them off and back on again, the very last line of the subtitles re-appears. Anyone else seen this?
ebr 14960
This is with embedded subs, not external?

I want to make sure I get this right, I’m no expert… it’s an MP4 container, with an .srt subtitle file inside as per the screenshot.
Luke 37272
hi, that's strange. Never seen this before but we'll take a look at it. Thanks.
ebr 14960
Hi. Okay, that is an external sub as I suspected. If you look in that file, does the last line have an end time?

MateyTate 15
@seanbuffIt happens to all, and yes, they have an end time. It’s only on the Shield though, doesn’t do it on the iPad or LG app. It does it on files I’ve made myself with Handbrake but also from 3rd party sources.
