hamah 4
I'm getting a permissions error when I attempt to delete an Emby user "There was an error deleting the item from Emby Server. Please check that Emby Server has write access to the media folder and try again." I'm not familiar as to where this media folder is. All of my media content is on an external drive and the entire drive is set for read/write for all users/groups ("Me"/"staff"/"everyone"). Maybe this isn't where the media folder referred to in the error is located? I've found 5 folders called "Media" on "Macintosh HD" but none seem related to Emby. How can Emby create users in a location that it could not then delete them from? Any help as to why I'm getting this error and how to resolve it would be appreciated. hamah 4
Hi Luke. I was unable to access the logs so I restarted Emby server. I was then unable to bring up the browser interface so I rebooted my iMac. After doing that I was able to delete the user. So no idea what got stuck but I'm ok now. Thanks though.
