WeeHappyPixie 0
Hi folks, I will have the latest version of Emby server for Synology 7.2 installed and it works OK for me on my own Google Chromecast 4K and Shield 2019 Pro. I created a user for my brother to access my libraries such as movies etc. He doesn't have delete rights but everything else. My server is setup with a dns name pointing to my NAS static IP. I am using the reverse proxy feature using an https to http rule and this has a Lets encrypt SSL cert. The login works ok on my brothers phone using the emby android app but when I use the same login using the emby app for Android TV I can't see any of the images for the movies, tv shows, music etc. The files play OK but just have the default icon of a frame of film instead of the movies image. Can anyone advise how to resolve this. The images are there on his phone which is connected to the same home WiFi. The Google Chromecast HD was brand new out the box and had the latest firmware. Thanks for your help. John
seanbuff 847
Hi, is your Emby Server using IPv6 by any chance? You could try side-loading the standard Android app to see how it compares. https://emby.media/emby-for-android.html

I'll try side-loading the standard Android app and report back. I just tried adding the internal service user emby with read rights to my NAS movie folder but that made no difference.
