StanEXE 0
Hi there, I recently got a 4K LG TV (50UR78006LK (2023)) and I'm aware it doesn't support TrueHD audio, which isn't a problem for me. Some of the media I have only has a TrueHD audio track and no AC3. On some days, Emby will choose to transcode the track to AC3, in which case the playback works perfectly. Other times it will try to direct play the TrueHD track, which won't work and the screen will stay black with no audio. Is there a way to force transcoding of TrueHD tracks to AC3 on my tv, because direct playing TrueHD always causes the media to not play. I've attached the transcoding log, which shows an error message at the bottom, I suspect this may be the problem but I am not sure. Yesterday it worked fine with transcoding this audiotrack but today it doesn't seem to be working. ffmpeg-remux-3f9fa183-6c1a-452e-8686-bd1fb6452b57_1.txt

SamES 893
@Luke, this looks like the same issue with them not packaging our ffmpeg Quote ffmpeg version 6.0.1 Copyright (c) 2000-2023 the FFmpeg developers built with gcc 13 (Gentoo Hardened 13.2.1_p20230826 p7)
StanEXE 0
Is there a way for me to resolve this myself or does the issue lie with Whatbox / Emby?

The issue relates to the way whatbox has packaged embyserver. They'll need to collaborate with us to find a better way.
