user101xy 24
Hi, I'm trying to add a new library (Music). Locate the folder on my NAS and select the folder as the location for my music. However, no albums or tracks appear in my library under Music. Did I miss something?
Happy2Play 8361
What do you see but sounds possible embedded tag related. Are your track tagged? How are they organized?
Jägs 72
Do you have real-time monitoring enabled? If not, did they show up after the nightly scheduled tasked?
user101xy 24
I don't think the tracks are tagged. They are organized in one folder (OneDrive) on my ASUSTOR. Real-time monitoring doesn't tell me anything, I don't think so. I should have a look, but I don't know where.

Albums and artists come from embedded metadata within your audio files, so if you don't have this, then you won't get them. The songs tab of your music library should still be populated though, once the initial scan has completed.
Happy2Play 8361
If tracks are not tagged you are required to have /Artist/Album/Track structure to interpret it. But if folder or Song is empty then we will probably need to see the server log showing a scan of that library.

Now i can see all my Music in Emby. Did you mean this @Luke?
Luke 37272
I was talking about information within audio files, not permissions, but it sounds like you're all set now.
