Luke 37192
Hi @cooolboy Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
cooolboy 1
Hello @Luke Will try to find a way to follow the steps but unfortunately i don't have an easy access to the TV as it is at the house of my father in law. Quote Some apps have their own logs (see EMC and Android TV section below). For others, they may send logs to us automatically if there is a crash. Please tell us as much about the scenario as you can to help us locate them. Does the LG App send automatic log reports? Thank you!

cooolboy 1
Hello @Luke and Merry Christmas Finally coming back with some logs and more details about the issue. Symptoms on the TV are: - Freezes while interacting with the UI and crashes (specifically when inside a movie). Example case: - When entering a movie the tv becomes unresponsive for 10-20 seconds and have to wait before further interaction - If I press play immediately the tv becomes completely unresponsive and crashes after 1-2 minutes - When playback is finished, going back to movie the tv is once again unresponsive for 10-20 seconds The workaround: - Get inside the movie and wait for 20-30 seconds before further interactions Probable issue - Failed request when entering a movie LG TV version 03.21.40 LG TV model 50NANO823QB Emby App version 1.0.35 Emby Server version 4.7.11.0 embyserver.txt Edited December 25, 2022 by cooolboy

Watched 2 movies and TV did not crash at all. Browsing and entering in individual movies worked like a charm without any freezing. Only noticed that the primary movie image was no longer showing when inside a movie but definitely not a deal breaker for such a quick bug fix. The app is working and we are able to enjoy our media during the holiday season! Thank you Emby team for the quick fix and this wonderful app! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
