inkubux 7
I'm trying to run MB server on linux ubuntu and debian One of my sever is with Ubuntu 14.04 on a relatively low powered Atom processor (eeebox) server and one on another quad core ARM (cubox-i 4 pro) server running Debian wheezy (with all the dependencies like libwebp5, mediainfo and sqlite) One of my goal is to have a low powered server and to encode my media properly for my clients. therefore all my media is in mp4 with AAC 2 channel most of them are High profile (no luck for the android direct stream with the MB App, but BS Player works well as an external player). So yes my server is not powerful enough to transcode but it is sufficient to direct stream 2 or 3 stream simultaneously But I get a lot of crashes from MB server (more crash on the ARM server), but still lots of crashes on my Atom server as well. I almost can't finish to stream a movie on any clients. it usually takes from 10m to 60m before this crash happens. My clients are (Web browser, Roku 2 XD, Chromecast, Android (Nexus 4, Asus TF101 Tablet), IPad Air and PS3. My main goal is to move from PLEX to MB because the devs and the community are awesome, but these instabilities keep me from adopting MB as my main Media server. Thanks for your awesome product I usually build a new version of MB every week, I also tried the deb package on ubuntu but still the same crashes. I have attached a typical server and crash log server.txt crash.txt
Luke 37118
Ok, thanks. We'll look at this specific issue. Keep in mind we haven't done any arm testing yet, so until that happens problems should be expected. but since they're happening on your atom server, we should be able to take care of them.

inkubux 7
Here is another one from this morning when playing on my Roku. this time it took less than 5 minutes for the server to crash If there is anything you need from me to investigate more on the subject, just let me know. Thanks again for your support. Log.txt crash.txt

KRA 39
Since migrating from windows to linux server I've had some stability issues, but they just keep getting worse, and MBS crash at least on a daily basis. thefirstofthe300 291
I have noticed a bunch of errors in the logs too. None of them have been bad enough to cause a crash though. danyboy666 0
For the first one try disabling the realtime monitor. the second one can be resolved for the next release. I'll give it a go for a couple days. Does MB scan the libraries if we disable that option? How can i confirm it's actualy rtm that is causing those carshes? (btw i had another one yesterday but i have't had disabled the feature yet)
