I have enabled thetvdb metadata downloader as above and the example for mikaeilo lomonosov id 253709 resolves to https://thetvdb.com/movies/bajar-es-lo-peor But my own problem is: i dont get the metadata for the lego masters tv show https://thetvdb.com/series/389181-lego-masters i only get https://thetvdb.com/movies/ninjago-masters-of-spinjitzu-day-of-the-departed
Luke 37132
@Glueckstiger how are your files named and organized?
Happy2Play 8318
@Glueckstiger Sorry but you are showing info for Movies and Series as providers have specific queries for each and same ids can exist on both side for different media. Your library content type will be a factor. And structure will also if in Mixed Content as the auto detection system will decide whether to search Movie or Series. Glueckstiger 2
Hi, my folder structure is /volume1/video/recordings/[name1|name2|name3] for mixed content lib. So, how can i choose, if its a movie pr a series so thetvdb can look for the right type?
Happy2Play 8318
You have to have structure and naming for Auto detection to decide whether it is movie or Series. So folder Star Wars with a file S01E01 should be identified as a Series, while folder Star Wars with file Star Wars would be a movie. There is no manual way to for a folder to be identified as Movie or Series.

Quote TV series are supported in mixed content libraries using the Unset content type, but season sub-folders are required in this scenario. https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001159110-tv-naming Edited September 1, 2022 by roaku
Luke 37132
Correct. Some of the more loosey goosey naming conventions are only supported with the dedicated TV content type.
Glueckstiger 2
Where can i find tv content type?
Luke 37132
That would be Serien. If you're setting up a new library please make sure to remove the old one. Let us know how things go. Thanks.
