I'm hoping this is a simple answer...I'm loosing the will to live.

I have a premiere account...logging into Emby on PC no problem, set up Emby connect, no problem, Emby on Android, no problem...into Alexa and the Emby skill and logging on to my Emby connect account no problem....get to the 'server to control with Alexa page' and nothing, no server in dropdown.  All looks fine on my windows desktop. All this is local on the LAN, no remote access although I have port fwd port 8096 to my server anyway to be sure.  Soooo frustrating!!

Hi, actually it's not. It's just the way Alexa works. The voice commands have to go out to an Amazon server and then come back in. so using Alexa requires you to setup remote access for your Emby Server.

How exactly did you setup Emby Connect? Did you go through this process here?

In particular please see the "Server Not Listed" section as well as "Guide for Administrators".

Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
