Dr Herbalist 0
Hey all, I'm using the Emby app on an LG TV (47lb650v-zn). The TV is not capable of playing h265 content. When I select content that is h265 I would expect it to transcode to h264 for compatibility. Instead it displays an error along the lines of "content not available". Any ideas how I may be able to force the device to transcode? Thanks, @SamES Herb
SamES 890
Can you please check in the section 'About my TV' in settings and let me know the webos version number (not the firmware number). It will probably be a low number like 1.0 In LG TV, go to Settings > Quick Settings > General > About this TV > webOS TV Version. SamES 890
Can you please test something for me? I want to check if using native browser methods, is the correct hevc playback capability detected on your FHD TV? On the TV, using the built in web browser, go to https://tv.emby.media/ (this is the hosted web app) Sign in and try playing the HEVC file from your library. Does it play without transcoding? Luke 37071
Actually if you don't have SSL on your emby server then you'll need to use the http version at http://app.emby.media
