Trivial 0
Hi All, This likely is a stupid question - but I will ask. I just downloaded the Media Browser for iOS app for my iPhone. When I go into the app, I can see my Movies with no issue that are being shared from my PC running Media Browser server. Two questions : 1) What is the circle used for beside each movie. When I click it, it shows me an eye. What is that eye used for ? 2) The more important question is - how can I use this as a remote ? When I select remote, I can see my other PC running Media Browser client. I select it, but then I can't seem to do anything. My assumption is that I can tell my PC running Media Browser client what to do from my iPhone (i.e. what movie to play), but it just sits there doing nothing. Am I wrong ? Thanks. Spaceboy 2498
the eye is the watched status, not sure about the remote
Trivial 0
So when does the eye change status ? When you watch a movie on the iOS client - or when you watch it on the PC client ? Thanks. Does anyone have the remote working ?
Spaceboy 2498
Either, mb3 syncs watched status back to the server and out to all clients
Trivial 0
Okay - thanks. But can I control my PC client from my iPhone ?
Spaceboy 2498
Not sure about the remote, I think on the iPhone it just controls media that is already playing. It's being merged with the iPad app though so coming soon I guess
